One of the things that attracts me to these toys is the incredible artwork on the header and backing cards.
Header cards are the top part of the bagged package. Usually small rectangle shaped, with a small hole for the toy store to hang the package. And, will most likely have staple holes in them. The backing card was inserted behind the vinyl figure in the bag. This larger piece almost always featured fantastic artwork.
These pieces of cardboard are often harder to find than the toys themselves..since once the child opened his toy the packing was thrown out. Luckily, some examples do exist, and here are some of my favorites.
